Aviation Heritage
The aviation heritage of the brand dates back to 1918, when the pilots of the first US airmail service between Washington and New York wore Hamilton watches. By the 1930s Hamilton was the official timekeeper of choice for commercial airlines in the USA.

Today the aeronautical spirit lives on. Hamilton is the official timekeeper of the Red Bull Air Race world championship, the new dimension of motorsports. Cooperating closely with leading air squadrons, the world famous French aerobatic pilot Nicolas Ivanoff and Air Zermatt, the prestigious transport and rescue helicopter company from Switzerland, Hamilton is taking aviation watches to new heights.

Hamilton proudly supports the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and is the proud Time-keeping sponsor of ATAC, the Air Cadet League of Canada, the David Charles Abramson Memorial (DCAM) Flight Instructor Safety Award, the Webster Trophy & the Northern Lights Aero Foundation

For over six decades Hamilton’s distinctive watches have appeared in more than 450 Hollywood blockbusters. Their eye-catching shapes, materials and unique designs earn them roles in the most diverse movie genres, ranging from action pictures such as Die Hard, Ocean’s Eleven and Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit to science fiction movies like Interstellar, The Martian, Men In Black, Independence Day, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Spider-Man 2, and from comedy classics like You’ve Got Mail, Hairspray, Legally Blonde, Nutty Professor II: The Klumps and Blue Hawaii to dramas such as A Beautiful Mind and The Good German.
